Before the Covid-19 pandemic took over I was dabbling in Python and was making a path towards being a Professional MMA Fighter. During the height of the pandemic it looked like my dreams were going to have to wait because fighting was dead for a while. This is when I decided to make a major shift in my career path and become a Full Stack Software Engineer!Fighting has taught me so much to prepare for this arduous journey of never ending self improvement and outside of the box thinking. There are no shortcuts to mastering your craft. You must put in the hours every day especially when no one is watching and you don't see an answer in site. My analytical side always showed in my fighting. Choosing the quickest most efficient path to solving "the problem"! I still love fighting, specifically Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but I've shifted focus to my career in programming!Anyways I have fallen head over heels in love with this new lifestyle and it goes to show that keeping a positive outlook and not getting complacent can do wonders.
