Joel is a digital innovation leader who has spent the past 20 years improving the use of data and software-based solutions across the life science and healthcare industries as an entrepreneur, board member, and advisor. He co-founded and currently leads ArcheMedX, which applies behavioral science to predict and improve clinical trial performance and patient care.Joel previously co-founded Ozmosis, Inc. and served as CEO of the company to provide knowledge sharing and care collaboration solutions to hospital systems and healthcare organizations. Prior to Ozmosis, Joel co-founded and directed Medical Funding Services (MFS), a digital healthcare payments firm, previously served in management roles at IBM Global Services, and developed data analysis solutions for the U.S. Government while at American Management Systems.Joel received his BA from Georgetown University and MBA from the Darden School of Business, where he led the Entrepreneurs Club and worked for Updata Venture Partners. He co-founded FounderCorps and previously served as a Special Advisor to Social Safeguard, OpenQ, and as a Board Member of the Charlottesville Business Innovation Council (CBIC). More recently, Joel devotes as much time as he can to his family and raising three adorable young children.
