Joel Hoffman has over 20 years of leadership experience within the commercial real estate industry. His comprehensive background includes a focus on building, growing, and managing corporate and brokerage infrastructure, with an expertise in high level recruitment and organizational development. Prior to joining Advocate, Joel spent approximately 20 years with Cushman & Wakefield, most recently as the Global Head of Operations for the Research division. As a member of the Global Leadership Team, Joel was responsible for the infrastructure of the Research staff across 4 global regions; including oversight of the budget and operating model, while serving as the primary liaison with business leadership across the organization. Prior to his work with the Research group, Joel served as Senior Vice President of US Brokerage Operations where he led over 200 commercial real estate professionals in 26 major US markets. Joel graduated cum laude from Wittenberg University with a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology. He is based out of Chicago and is active in the community.
