I founded LED Waves when lighting class LED technology was in its early infancy and showing remarkable potential. My goal was to apply my lifelong experience in lighting systems to accelerate the adoption of SSL not only to lower energy usage, but to improve overall lighting performance. Representing 90% of the lighting market, large commercial and industrial buildings are capable of effecting the most change in energy savings. I established an in-house R&D department at LED Waves to serve the highly specialized needs of these clients. Working with ESCOs as well as directly with users in an OEM capacity, we have advanced the brightness, reliability, and affordability of LED lighting. Our commitment to quality and innovation is manifest in the unique new products my team has developed with commercial and industrial clients in mind. The Owl Pack LED flood, the EZ40 retrofit bulb and the Marquee LED tunnel light all stand as examples of custom OEM projects we were able to bring to a greater market thanks to their adaptability into wall packs, roadway lighting, service stations and other outdoor applications. With 40+ years of experience in lighting sales, I remain keenly aware of the qualities that create a satisfying client experience.
