I help manage accounts, hardware (IT, routers, technology in general), negotiate pricing with partners, find residential (and now business) customers the best pricing for their specific needs in terms of hardware and service. I’m technically over-qualified for this position but it’s the best I can do right now with my health the way it is. And, luckily for me, they’re starting to see the initative I show in software development. Nothing of note right now, but hopefully soon! Until then, I’ll just keep being the best I can be. I actually really enjoy how happy people are when I get to lower their bills so that’s a plus!

I worked with the founder Joe Hutchison on multiple projects. Some left unfinished unfortunately due to my injury but a wonderful environment and place to grow when I was still early on in my career.

Working for a startup for software consulting and design, YOU DO EVERYTHING. Actually, one of of the largest sections of my job was accounting for one of our clients, it directly related to the code I was working on and it was fun but I had no idea joining the Never Settle team would end me up in “accounting” (for example). But, some of the best memories I have IN LIFE have been with Kenn, Shaul, and Andrew ESPECIALLY at our retreats. I’ve been out of touch with them since I really buckled down figuring out how to solve my physical (and in effect mental) health. I’m not all the way there yet but I hope to get back in touch, and maybe finish an old project or two that they still have lying around that was left undone (it would be fun to work together again someday, as friends rather than employer-employee this time).

I founded a company and worked on like a billion projects for all kinds of clients and it was too much, I hired employees but didn’t know how to manage them properly. I tried to take on everything myself and eventually just caved under the pressure and my subsequent injury from 2016 - 2019.

I didn’t technically work for them as they were a client of “Never Settle” but it felt like it with the meetings and watching Alek Hartzog grow from a software implementor to full blown developer in a years time. I was hired to do software development and in the end felt like Alek had taken initiative (in the most humble of ways) on anything but the very hardest of tasks that he’d stick me on. 😂 One of my favorite people to work with. And I’ll never forget the ONLY person in the professional world that played Super Smash Bros: Project M, Staci Ardison, it was a pleasure working with you! PS. They made a new “Project M.” Look for it!

As much as I bag on this being my first corporate job, I loved the experience and crazy decisions they used to let me make when I was just a kid in college...then they went bankrupt (not my fault 😂), then got bought out of bankruptcy and Phil Calien and Bob Ely (he ran for president in 2016 against Obama, MY BOSS 🤯) taught me so many things about sales, candor in the workplace and many more lessons I take with me today even if, in the end IT wasn’t at the heart of what I wanted to do in life. Hope everyone is doing great and I still help out from time to time at the Milford Branch with James Stevenson.

To be honest, I just didn’t like the design aspects of this company I was trying to build. It was not my wheelhouse and I couldn’t find anyone at the time to supplement my lack of knowledge in the graphic design area so I closed up shop on this business v quickly. I still try to help out our old non-profits though as much as I can nowadays.

I was just a kid that did computer repair, software solutions and implementation, graphic design, and accounting (when people would let me 🙃)
