Deliver the CareerTrackers Program by engaging Indigenous students to facilitate their progress at University, in the workplace, and across the broader community. Tasks and Responsibilities include: Student recruitment- Plan and deliver recruitment activities and identify suitable students aligned to the program goals- Build effective relationships with staff from universities and pipeline partners to obtain new student registrations- Be the first point of contact, and communicate the program to students to determine their eligibility to participate Pre-employment training - Identify suitable employers for students based on their career interests and an understanding of employment opportunities - Deliver core training to support students to obtain an internship, and liaise with managers during the interview to intern process- Provide information to students and ensure they are confident and prepared to start work- Support activities that prepare our employment partners for the internshipInternship - Support students to fulfil their responsibilities during the internship- Provide support to managers and escalate any potential issues that may impact on an intern's opportunity- Support interns through the end-of-internship presentation- Coordinate the end-of-internship process with a focus on students achieving return internships and graduate opportunities Engagement- Communicate program requirements and support students to make progress in all three pillars of success- Support eligible students to access and apply for Indigenous Cadetship Support scholarship- Prepare for and participate in planning meetings with university and pipeline partners
