Chemical Biological Incident Response Force Indian Head, Md

• Managed over 150 Marines, Sailors and civilians during Initial Response Force (IRF) operations. • Managed over 60 Marines daily ensuring they maintained CBRN decontamination, detection, and personal protective equipment (PPE), were properly trained, and adhered to Marine Corps standards. • Functioned as the Decontamination, and IRF Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge. • Coordinated operations during four major CBRN defense exercises that were essential in ensuring the Chemical, Biological Incident Response Force (CBIRF) was capable of preforming its’ duty to protect the National Capitol Region in the event of a hazardous material (HAZMAT) incident or CBRN attack. • Managed a TT&E program that evaluated operations and determined shortfalls through the use of after action reports. Developed training and established performance standards to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of my staff. • Directed and coordinated the setup and breakdown of IRF HAZMAT sites. • Managed patient extraction operations, decontamination operations, detection operations, and technical rescue missions for the IRF in accordance with National Incident Management System standards. • Managed, maintained, and completed preventive maintenance checks and services for over $6.4 million of mission essential CBRN decontamination, detection, and PPE.

Marine Corps Forces Pacific Camp Smith, Hi

• Advised the Commanding Officer of Headquarters Service Battalion Marine Forces Pacific Command regarding CBRN defense tactics, techniques and procedures. • Developed an all hazards COOP plan, physical security protocols, and the CBRN defense order for Headquarters Service Battalion Marine Forces Pacific Command. • Functioned as the AT/FP Chief for Headquarters Service Battalion Marine Forces Pacific Command. • Evaluated and improved physical security measures for Marine Corps Base Camp Smith, HI. • Managed the CBRN defense, Marine Corps marksmanship, and physical conditioning TT&E programs for Marine Forces Pacific Command. • Developed a comprehensive CBRN defense TT&E program for Marine Forces Korea while managing a mobile training team assigned to assess their CRBN defense readiness. Conducted a joint military CBRN defense training event with Marine Forces Korea and the Republic of Korea Marine Corps. • Trained over 1,000 Marines, Sailors and civilians in CBRN defense tactics, techniques and procedures.

Marine Air Control Group 28 Cherry Point, Nc

• Advised the Commanding Officers of Marine Air Control Group 28 and all subordinate squadrons regarding CBRN defense tactics, techniques and procedures. • Coordinated with Army, Navy, Marine and civilian component personnel to develop and implement the first all hazards COOP plan for Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. • Functioned as the CBRN defense, AT/FP, and Operations Security (OPSEC) Chief for the Marine Air Combat Element in Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. • Coordinated the construction of physical barriers and access control points essential in the protection of Marine Air Combat Element personnel in Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. • Advised Navy medical personnel in triage and treatment procedures for potential CBRN injuries. • Advised Marine Air Control Group 28 personnel regarding OPSEC procedures and specific concerns; identifying and mitigating several real-world OPSEC violations while on combat deployment. • Managed the CBRN defense TT&E program for Marine Air Control Group 28. • Developed a comprehensive five day CBRN defense course covering CBRN decontamination, detection, and PPE; subsequently providing this training to lateral Marine units upon request. • Trained over 6,000 Marines, Sailors and civilians in CBRN defense tactics, techniques and procedures.
