Curiosity is the engine of achievement, and this is my lodestar since the day I had started making sense of the phenomena governing everyday occurrences around me. Thus, doing mechanical engineering was a perfect choice. But my quest was not over as I wanted to be better informed, with that in mind I joined an automobile production corporation to gain first-hand experience. I had worked as an apprentice for a year, meanwhile my responsibilities were:• To prepare a production plan for gear inspection.• Inspection of more than 2000 gears per shift.• Ensured high-quality output by monitoring numerous operations.• Assisted supervisors by continuous communication with main and support teams• Pitched in key management functions like to achieve required company quality standards, maintaining Standard Operations, identifying and eliminating root cause using robust countermeasures, monitor and maintain company Absence Control Procedures, experience of Kaizen and Poka Yoke techniques.
