In 2012 I conceived and raised the capital for Nesta Impact Investments, an £18m venture fund for high potential businesses using technology for impact in education, social care and inclusive financial services. This was Nesta's first experience of managing third party capital under its FCA authorised fund management vehicle.I led a team of 6 who built out a portfolio of 10 Seed and Series A investments in education, financial inclusion and social care ventures.
