In my current position, I support a wide array of mission-critical applications and services in private and public clouds, hybrid and on-premises physical and virtual infrastructures. I am experienced in lift-and-shift architecture migration, enterprise automation, BCP/DR planning and execution, and continuous vulnerability assessment and mitigation.Prior to my current position, I served as a cyber security policy creator as Security Architect and obtained the CISSP certification. Previously, I led a team of Field Service Engineers supporting small and medium businesses throughout the Mid-Willamette I-5 corridor. I have worked as a systems engineer for more than 20 years, focusing on internet technologies as it relates to the infrastructure, as well as DEV/OPS planning, development, and implementation.I have completed the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), the GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED) certification, and the GIAC Intrusion Analyst certification (GCIA). I am an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
