As an independent consultant I supported two joint ventures (Toilet Twinning & Pregnancy Twinning) born out of Tearfund with the development of core fundraising propositions and digital marketing strategies. Through iterative testing cycles using digital channels such as Facebook and Instagram, I helped to shape the ventures strategic direction as they matured from start-ups into an established part of Tearfund's fundraising portfolio.

Industry placement during my Masters. Leading on a major innovation project for the fastest growing fitness company in Europe, the task was to identify strategic opportunities for innovation in the existing business model applying market research, innovation models, and trend analysis.

Reporting to senior executives, our team's task was to identify strategic innovation opportunities for Sweden's largest bread distributor. Conducting qualitative research, applying innovation models, and interpreting trend analysis, developed a customer proposition targeted at the German Bread Market projecting an additional €4.7millon in revenue per annum.

At the age of 19, I founded Chasing Zero, an organisation applying innovative mobile phone technology to provide life-saving information to rural communities across Africa.After securing initial start-up capital, I led Chasing Zero to initiate an award-winning HIV programme in five countries and gained the support from corporates such as MTV, Vodafone, Björn Borg AB, and Tearfund. Key responsibilities included: Brand development, formulating strategy, securing external investment, stakeholder management, establishing and leading a team, budgeting, and project management.
