Aided in the start-up of a ninth grade math and science tutoring program with the use of the Ninth Grade Success Grant with the Colorado Dept. of Education at a local district hybrid and online school. This required high attention to detail, communication between the school, parents, students, and a wide variety of school staff. Led and grew the Western Colorado Elementary Science Fair. Increased overall attendance and participation by 36%. Responsibilities included aiding schools in projects, tracking funding, and communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders. Supervised and expanded a STEAM after school program. Responsibilities included clear communication, and supervising a small team of interns. This program's registration attendance increased by 200%.Organized and communicated with over 20 local professionals to be guest speakers for summer camps. Over half of camp weeks had 2 or more quest speakers.Led agricultural and outdoor off-site programming which required a high level of independence and communication. Frequently spoke and led science activities at public outreach events

Assisted field office botanist with a variety of work including Uinta Basin hookless cactus surveys, riparian vegetation assessments to determine a type of stream, and stream PFC. I also gained experience in hydrology through helping with post fire erosion studies on the Pine Gulch Fire by installing crest gauges. I gained experience working with the range program by aiding in range transect vegetation monitoring.

Create a community for LGBT members and allies on campus to make campus feel like a safer and more inclusive environment. This also included bridging campus and the surrounding community together. Successfully hosted a fundraising drag show on campus that lead to a record breaking attendance. While in this position, I have also worked very closely with the Cultural Inclusion Council in hosting successful on campus events for both campus and community members that promoted and invited the an inclusive environment of different cultures.

Communicated with different roles to complete community needs assessment for locations across the United States including tasks such as analyzing census data and working with grants.gov. Proof-read, researched, and used data entry skills to analyze demographic data from a wide variety of resources. Used Microsoft Office Suite effectively for data analysis.

Communicated between the Forest Service and the public while speaking with and informing members of the public about current projects and news about the national forests and surrounding public lands. Work closely with a large variety of resource management branches such as timber sales, recreation, and wildfire management. Managed the visitor inbox and replied to messages in a timely manner. Successfully created brochers for a variety of recreation based activities and locations on the Grand Mesa, Uncomphagre and Gunnison National Forests.
