My professional experience includes:QSD and QSP duties including SWPPP preparation, stormwater compliance documentation, site inspections, and water sampling. Hydrology work for various clients such as private developers, institutions, and public municipalities. This is the above ground engineering of surface waters, by conveyance, treatment, detention of flood waters, and retention for irrigation and infiltration. Construction management has included contractor oversight, bid document preparation, field inspections and agency compliance, and in-field calculations.Hydraulic work for various clients such as private developers, institutions, and public municipalities. This is the below ground engineering of conveyance measures and storage of storm-waters. Sanitary sewer systems for redevelopment and new construction. This work along with water and storm sewer design is primarily meeting regional and local requirements and less calculations. Water systems engineering has been for potable (drinkable) and non-potable usages. My short term goal is to work in project management. My mid-term goal is to help small and medium sized developers permit and build homes in areas where impacts may hinder growth and build homes that are more livable, environmentally friendly, and energy efficient. My long term goals to own and operate my own engineering firm focused on green energy/building of low impact, low to high density live-work villages.Specialties: I have completed projects meeting federal, state, regional and local regulations, requirements, and form tracking for projects such as creek day-lighting, removal of lands from federal flood plains, and mitigation of impacts due to development. Finally and most recently advising clients on methods to meet current LEED certification and requirements for ratings.
