Development of next generation automated test fixtures (Self-Test software, Image Recognition, Photo Detectors) to remove operator errors during test.Achievements:- Implementation of new PCBA test method resulting in 99%+ supplier yield- Production test equipment transfer to international supplier (accomplished remotely saving time and resources, $100k cost savings)- Improved supplier PCBA production yield from 80% to 96% (combination of DoEs and process validation)- Improved new product test coverage to 98% from previous generation of 70%- Implemented In-Circuit Testing vs. Flying Probe on several new products ($200k cost savings)- Held C Programming classes in-house for Technicians to create better troubleshooting tools

Ensure high quality and yields of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) from various contract manufacturers, domestic and overseas. Developed automated test fixtures to inspect for defects and characterize performance of production PCBAs. Worked in the Electronic Services Group (ESG) to assist R&D and Operations with production transfers, product sustainment, and new product introductions. Developed production test strategies and assisted many business units (Video, Video Accessories, Arthroscopy, Service/Repair) with various product troubleshooting and root cause investigations.Achievements:- Production test equipment transfer to new supplier site (quality improvement project)- Development and execution of production test plan for new international PCBA supplier ($1Million+ cost savings project)- Development of in-house PCBA test methodology for improving yields and test efficiency- Implementation of SigmaSure Ondemand software allowing for near real-time test data collection/analytics/alerts from in-house production and suppliers (domestic and international)
