He specialized in identifying attractive investment opportunities for corporations, financial sponsors and entrepreneurs and assisting in the execution of transactions.Mr. Marren has spent considerable time researching and speaking on the issue of whether current financial reporting by the federal government complies with the requirements of the U.S. Constitution. He and his wife, along with KStone sponsored the first-of-its-kind conference at Fordham Law School in 2012 devoted to this topic. He has submitted several memorandum to and testified before the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). Furthermore, he has written and continues to write extensively on this timely and important matter.
