Managing talent processes for various departments within the Vanderbilt University system.

I partner with designated colleges within Vanderbilt University to consult on talent management need, administrative collaboration and managing the process to fill vacant roles and assist in identifying retention opportunities. Currently I partner with our Athletic Department, Peabody College of Education, Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt Public Safety Office, the Susan Gray School, and Vanderbilt's Children and Family Center.

Joined the DCS team to do a holistic evaluation on department wide recruiting and retention activities and present action plans to attract and employ highly qualified applicants, as well as ensure they stay highly trained and healthy members. Internal and external recruiting functions were designated to run through my office. Also involved in employee engagement initiatives and communications.

Partnered with state agencies to recruit and process high quality talent to join the State of Tennessee team, provide HR services within our PeopleSoft HRIS and be a trusted partner in collaborative strategic planning processes while building Tennessee into an employer of choice. Experience in this role includes but is not limited to:* Building and executing recruitment and retention strategies by partnering with a variety of agencies to evaluate and analyze talent needs and incorporate talent management principles*Developing innovative marketing and recruiting strategies to ensure current and potential talent sources are secured *Talent evaluation*Assisting agencies with time and labor review, auditing payroll, and processing employee management transactions at all levels, per policy*Interpreting and evaluating HR policy application, as well as other innovative and proactive talent management duties

I worked with the public in determining eligibility of applicants to the state's Department of Human Services citizen assistance programs as a Eligibility Counselor.

Involved in the administration of two DII basketball programs, responsible for approx. 40 members along with budget management, travel coordination, process planning, academic progress and skill development.
