I teach leaders how to be better bosses, the kind who know how to cultivate commitment in the workplace. I was previously the head of learning and development for physician services at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) where I managed training for one of the largest nationally ranked physician groups in the country. It’s there that I discovered my knack for transforming leaders into better bosses who know how to nurture high-performing teams. In 2013, I started Joe Mull & Associates to bring that kind of training to organizations and leaders everywhere. Since then I’ve written two books on engaging employees and reducing team drama, and have been designing leadership and staff development programming for clients all over the U.S. I also keynote about 20+ conferences a year. Because I work with organizations both large and small, there aren't many people management challenges I haven't seen before and that I don't know how to unpack and fix. And because my college degree is actually in the performing arts, I know how to deliver keynotes and training that is funny and captivating but most importantly, helps people show up differently and get better results immediately. I have a Master's degree in Education from Ohio University and reside in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA with my wife and 3 kids. I love cheeseburgers, Disney movies, and hockey. I'm a dog person.
