I am an enthusiastic individual who appreciates both knowledge attained and the quest for knowledge itself. This led to me studying sciences at A-level, as well as Further Mathematics that I selected due to finding that I had a natural aptitude for Mathematics. This started me on a Physics career at the University of Exeter that ultimately resulted in completing a PhD in 2009.Throughout this time, I gained a great range of skills. I developed in depth knowledge of a number of Physics topics, to the extent that I was teaching first and second year undergraduates. I also learnt to programme, starting with C as part of my degree. With an interest in computer games and socialising with the society, this led to an ability to code Small-C for the Adminmod project where I became a lead programmer. Due to this, I dabbled with PHP and MySQL which resulted in work as a graphic and web designer at the Reddiplex group. I continued to use and hone these skills and, by the time I complete my PhD, I was both an adept Physicist as well a capable programmer.On top of this, my subsequent professional experiences have allowed me to develop an ability to relate complex concepts to a range of different audiences, from low ability year 7s to representatives of external companies.
