I am the Director of Contextual Consulting, a consultancy that provides ACT and contextual behavioural, supervision, coaching and psychological therapy.I am also an Associate Professor (teaching) and Programme Director for the UCL Serious Mental Health Problem (SMHP) Post Graduate Diploma and Certificate Programmes - Psychosis/Bipolar, Personality Disorders and Eating Disorders.I have authored and edited a number of books, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness for Psychosis’ published by Wiley-Blackwell and author of the popular self-help book "ACTivate Your Life’, ‘Acceptance and Commitment Coaching’; ‘ACT for Psychosis Recovery’, ‘100 Key Points and Techniques in ACT’ and ‘The Mindfulness and Acceptance Workbook for Self Esteem’. I am current secretary of the UK and Republic of Ireland ABCS Chapter Board and I am the previous chair of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) ACT Special Interest Group. In addition, I regularly provide ACT and contextual-cognitive behavioural therapy training, both nationally and internationally.
