Temporary research employee at Philips. Responsible for optimization of cough classification and preparation of a new trial within the European iCare4COPD project. Developed and evaluated thresholding method to improve sensitivity and software tool to automatize deployment and data collection.

Extended PhD research by practical ICTLabs project. Responsible for showing the feasibility of secure biometric verification methods on a face based smartphone app. Initial app developed for face capture and preprocessing.

PhD student at the Signal Processing Systems (SPS) group, faculty Electrical Engineering, Eindhoven University of Technology. Involved in the VITRUVIUS project about versatile and secure use of Body Sensor Network (BSN) data. Personal research focused on the secure application of biometric data for user authentication, which was identified as one of the challenges on a BSN to prevent medical errors, illegal reproduction and use of software and data.

Student informant official for the Electrical Engineering faculty. Responsible for the organization of open days, the information materials such as leaflets, posters and presentations, giving presentations at local high schools and guiding visits of high schools to the university. Successfully increased the number of first-year’s enrollments.
