Hello, I'm a software engineer with a history of working in research. Skilled in mathematical modeling, uncertainty analysis/statistical inference, Python, MATLAB, Lua, C/C++, OpenGL/GLSL. I have experience with software development, writing, presenting, version control and enjoy being part of a team.I obtained my Masters Degree and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology. Here I got the opportunity to work on several interesting projects. One involving Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and the other involved uncertainty analysis in dynamical systems. During my post-doctoral studies I worked on several applied projects in molecular biology where I modeled dynamical systems while integrating various sources of data. Here, the tools of the trade were mostly MATLAB and C and tool development went hand in hand with the projects.In my free time I develop and maintain a few audio processing and UI plugins for the Digital Audio Workstation REAPER (EEL2/Lua) and a videogame/real time fluid simulator (C/C++/OpenGL/Lua with some python asset management and tooling). My strengths lie in developing software with rapidly changing specifications and data analysis.I love technology and often marvel at the level of ingenuity that has gone into even the seemingly simplest of systems.
