As the Head of International and Partnership Development at University of South Wales (USW), I lead a team of professionals who are responsible for delivering the university's 2030 strategy in the areas of international recruitment, partnerships, and immigration and student support.With a MSc in International Marketing from University of Sussex, I have a strong background in developing and implementing effective marketing and recruitment strategies across diverse markets, such as West/Southern Africa, Bangladesh, and Bhutan. I also have extensive experience in working with colleagues on managing our UKVI license, TNE development, student experience, student mobility, contract management, and budget oversight.In my previous role as the International Development Manager at USW, I oversaw the recruitment operations for the Faculty of Life Sciences and Education, and led the university's international digital marketing strategy. I also line managed the USW Nigeria, Bangladesh and Ghana teams, as well as the International Officer for India and Nepal. Thanks to our collaborative efforts, we achieved 100%+ growth in student enrolment from these regions, making USW a top UK recruiting university.I am passionate about enhancing the quality and diversity of international education, and fostering meaningful and sustainable partnerships with stakeholders across the globe. I am also an Advisory Board Member at BUILA, where I represent USW on the Strategic Communications and Marketing Advisory Group.
