In charge of recording a bi-weekly radio show and editing the show to be ready for broadcast.Worked closely with the show’s producer to inform them what I was doing and quickly adapt to any problems.Also in charge of scheduling the programme to be broadcast live the next day and to go onto Mixcloud for on-demand listening.Communicated with the wider radio staff remotely to keep them updated on our activities.

Wrote a variety of articles, blog posts and newsletters on topics ranging from mental wellbeing, community projects and local business support.Needed to quickly research and write each post to have them prepared within two weeks.Also worked on transcription, proofreading and copywriting for the organisation’s social media.Attended a focus group with the West Midlands Combined Authority about issues affecting young people in the area

Assisted in the maintenance of the book shop including preparing books to be sold and reorganising shelves and displays. Researched vintage books to ensure correct pricing. Provided customer service and support to customers and National Trust visitors. I was trusted enough to keep watch of the shop independantly.

Organised and set up graphic cards and videos to be displayed on the screens during the weightlifting event. Communicated with the producer and other crew members to make quickly informed decisions, whilst also making independent decisions in high pressure situations.During one session, I was trusted enough to be the Vision Mixer and take complete control of the screens at the event.
