About Joe Pomponio

Retired Lieutenant and Supervisor of Correctional Officers from the Texas Dept of Criminal Justice dedicated to ensuring the security and safety of employees, visitors and offenders within the prison population. I retired with 25 years and 6 months in 2021. Currently working as an Assistant Jail Administrator at the Jasper County Sheriff's Dept in Jasper Texas. Proficient in all aspects of prison security systems including two way radios, CCTV, crowdcontrol gas delivery systems and perimeter weapons. Committed to enhancing the securityand safety techniques including application of policy in any given agency. Completedvarious intensive security and human resource training programs through the State of TexasSpecialties: administration, Incident Command Systems, Radio Operations, Leadership Instructor, Chemical Agents and Fire Arms Instructor.
