Over the past 23 years, I have created a body of editorial, design and marketing work that is rooted in narrative, and has a proven track record of success for my clients: from weekly newspapers, to community credit unions, to Indigenous Tribes, to Fortune 500 companies. My work is driven by a passion for helping others and understanding the stories of my clients by working with them side-by-side, ensuring that their mission gets conveyed appropriately.I’m something of a Swiss Army Knife: I’m a designer, art director, creative strategist, interactive and UX/UI designer. I lead teams, helm complicated app and website redesigns, produce videos and motion graphics. I am a multi-instrumentalist, and compose music both commercially and in my free time. My aim is to find simple, creative solutions for problems that often seem complicated.I’m a natural leader that likes to make people feel like they belong and can achieve anything they set their minds to and am committed to building a positive and supportive work environment.I spend many hours volunteering with The Mazamas — a 125+ year-old mountaineering organization — where I lead teams on climbing adventures, teach classes and chair the Basic Climbing Education Program, the organization’s largest program involving hundreds of volunteers and that trains 200+ people to climb and safely enjoy the outdoors. I have been on the front end of ensuring our organization creates space for all, and helped lead one of the first LGBTQAI+ teams.
