In 2008 I was elected as a representative of my high school to go to Uganda as a journalist for Edukans. There, I experienced the life of the people and the influences of the Aid given by Edukans. Objective: Motivating my fellow students to collect money for Edukans and the people I'd met. And we succeeded: We collected over €20.000! Ever since I've been very active as a volunteer for this organization. This means that I lead workshops for high school students about international development aid, and give presentations about my experiences with Edukans and Uganda. From 2011 until now, I am also a School consultant. This means that I contact schools to inform them about the Edukans projects and ask them to join them. I also accompany schools and students during their participation in these projects.
