I spent the first 20+ years of my professional career at GSK, Vanguard and Comcast, first as a client serving on the IT helpdesk and then as a specialist in executive (C suite) support in GSK's Systems Computing Services (SCS) Group. I’ve had many varying roles in IT from Network Engineering to IT auditing. In 2018, I have started to use my specialized knowledge of Information Technology to bring knowledge and awareness to the C-Suite and the Board on these complex, highly specific and fast changing IT systems and services. I have specialized knowledge and have served as a leader within GSK, Vanguard and Comcast to bring these perspectives and knowledge first to GSK's client serving professionals and now to my clients.In the last 6 years of my career, I served in the Auditor Independence Group and dealt with regulatory matters concerning compliance with the FCC, SOX and HIPPA regulations. I assisted clients in meetings with and formal submissions to the regulators, advised client serving teams, clients and their audit committees on specific independence matters, and updated companies policies, procedures and guidance. I currently advise companies on IT systems, solutions, and evolving trends, typically serving as an intermediary between company executives and clients or advisors. I am also currently assisting companies on IT security, and best practices.
