Joe is a Managing Director within the EY Assurance practice, with over 20+ years of experience serving the technology, media and telecommunications industry. He has worked extensively with Fortune 50 entertainment and media stakeholders through the Media Rating Council (MRC) industry body, in efforts to secure valid, reliable and effective business analytics.Joe's primary focus has been on the digital advertising ecosystem since 2009, where he has worked with industry organizations including MRC, the Interactive Advertising Bureau, Mobile Marketing Association, China Media Assessment Council, agencies and advertisers to address the challenges facing the industry. In his role as an industry account leader, he serves as a subject matter resource in the areas of industry risks and the use of data science analytics, while also serving as executive lead over select EY priority community engagement initiatives.Joe holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance and Master of Accounting degree with a concentration in Taxation from Florida State University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Notary Public in the State of Florida, and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). As a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Information Systems Audit and Control Association, Joe stays up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.Additionally, Joe is highly active in the Tampa Bay Area non-profit community, where he serves as a board and committee member. He is also a member of the Leadership Tampa Bay class of 2023 and actively recruits talent for EY as the University of South Florida campus recruiting leader. Outside of work, Joe is a seasoned minister and wedding officiant and an amateur competitor in the Tampa Bay fitness community, participating in multiple marathons and triathlons.
