With over 55 years of experience, I’ve developed a diverse range of photographic expertise. As a former US Navy Photographer’s Mate and a decorated combat veteran, I gained a deep understanding of capturing images under high-pressure conditions, refining both my technical skills and creative vision. My work today reflects the precision and discipline from my military background, applied across fine art, architectural, nature, travel, and portrait photography.I specialize in black-and-white cityscapes, blending tilt-shift lenses and long-exposure techniques to capture the interaction between motion and stillness in urban environments. My solo exhibition, “Cityscapes in Black and White” at the Copley Society of Art, showcases this work, where architectural forms remain sharp and timeless while human motion adds dynamic energy to the frame.Beyond architectural photography, I also have a deep passion for nature, travel, and portrait photography, exploring the beauty of landscapes, cultures, and people around the world. My travels have taken me across the U.S. and abroad, where I’ve documented diverse environments and human experiences, bringing a sense of connection between people and place in my images.In addition to my exhibition work, I offer photography workshops in locations such as Croatia, Italy, Provence, Romania, Ireland, the Pacific Northwest, the Oregon Coast, Palouse, Bandon (OR), Cape Cod, and Savannah (GA). In these workshops, I teach participants how to master architectural photography, travel photography, tilt-shift techniques, nature photography, and portraiture.
