Hi, I'm the Director of Reilly CMS Ltd, providing consulting and mediation services in the healthcare sector in the UK. In my 30 years' experience as an NHS psychiatrist I've seen how important healthy teams are to doing the best we can. Now I want to help those teams to resolve interpersonal conflict, and to support their staff with the emotional impact of working in healthcare. I've had leadership experience at local and regional level including 14 years as R&D Director at an NHS Trust. I've led change at team, departmental and organisational level. I am an NHS workplace mediator, conducting mediations since 2018. I'm currently helping Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust to establish Schwartz Rounds.Relevant experience: I've extensively trained and supervised psychiatrists, and provided formal appraisal and informal mentoring for trainees and colleagues. I've helped to establish regional networks and NHS-University partnerships.Relevant training: In 2013 I completed the Ashridge Business School NIHR Leadership Development Programme for NHS R&D Directors and Managers, and in 2018 I trained as an internal workplace mediator with ACAS. In March 2021 I completed an accredited training course with the Society of Mediators.
