I serve as the Director of Health Data Analytics Initiative at the College of Engineering, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My primary focus is on developing health data science projects in collaboration with computer scientists and clinical/medical researchers. Our areas of expertise include AI, ML, statistical modeling, algorithm design, and software development. Currently, we are focused on neurodegenerative diseases and advanced methods for analyzing EEG data and associated clinical reports.For the past seven years, I have organized the AI and Health Summit, addressing topics such as "Healthy Aging of Brain and Mind with AI," "Generative AI - A Promising Catalyst for Healthcare?" and "AI for Medicine in the Age of Many Small Data Sets."My past clients include Fortune 50 companies. I have gained extensive experience in the academic environment through my roles at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) and the University of Illinois’ NIH BD2K Center for Large Genomic Data, where I served as Associate Director.
