Jörg Matthaei joined The Manser Practice in 2006 after working and qualifying as an architect in Germany and became an associate director in September 2012. He is a member of the RIBA.His current project is the refurbishment of the German Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for which The Manser Practice acts as lead consultant, design manager and contract administrator.Having overseen the design and construction of projects in the UK and abroad, his focus is to achieve a high degree of architectural quality, utilising both traditional materials and innovative products. Past project include modular prefabricated hotels and space saving residential developments, heath care projects, as well as larger complexes for hotels and mixed used projects in and outside of Greater London.
