About Joeri De Wit
Experienced organic, synthetic and medicinal chemist. For 22 years, I have been working as an experienced synthetic chemist within the Medicinal Chemistry research department at large pharmaceutical companies (Organon, later Schering-Plough, later MSD in Oss Netherlands; and Janssen Pharmaceuticals in Beerse Belgium). Now I am working at NTRC (later NTRC Therapeutics) for almost 11 years. NTRC Therapeutics is a small biotech company in Oss Netherlands. My main task is the design and synthesis of new chemical entities (NCE’s) as potent drug candidates for the treatment of a range of biological targets. Key therapeutic areas: Immunology (e.g. Anti-inflammatory, Rheumatoid Arthritis) and Women’s Health (e.g. Osteoporosis).
