Currently, I am a broker for partnerships within the world of telehealth and telemedicine, specifically between Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi, but also across the nation. I achieve this through webinars, public speaking, public education, and other various avenues of communication.I coordinate social media, newsletters, blogs, website management, and technical assistance. In my tenure here, I established and continue to coordinate the Institute for Digital Health & Innovation's newsletter (DigiHealth) as well as an ongoing webinar series (The Quarterly Digital Health Series).

I wore many hats for the Injury Prevention Center at Arkansas Children's Hospital. I assisted/coordinated public and media relation efforts, coordinated/executed graphic design projects, represented the organization at community events and spoke to the general public, students and professionals as needed. I coordinated events and I was the project lead for several ongoing ventures. I was the coordinator for the Safe Kids Coalition of Arkansas and I won International Safety Media Awards in 2012, 2016, and 2018.

Community Relations – Member of United Way Allocations Committee (2008 – 2010). Coordinated activities and fundraisers for the THV Summer Cereal Drive and Heart of Arkansas United Way campaigns. Coordinated Partner in Education activities with Washington Magnet and Little Rock Central High. Helped facilitate and coordinate the Rate Advisory Committee Meetings in conjunction with the Impact Fee Study undertaken by Little Rock Wastewater. Renewed the Captain Sewer program, visiting elementary schools within the Little Rock area to teach children about water conservation, proper grease disposal and recycling. Attended and exhibited at community events.Public/Media Relations - Handled all media, public, and community relations. Managed social media content. Created press releases monthly. Served as a liaison for the utility promoting public health and community awareness through different agencies and public entities. Attended Little Rock Board of Directors meetings as appropriate and participated in all Little Rock Sanitary Sewer Committee meetings. Maintained constant contact with media outlets. Creative Design – Responsible for: Annual report, brochures, posters, flyers, logos, quarterly reports, PowerPoint presentations, photography, videography, website management, company t-shirts and newsletters.Supervisory – Supervised front desk reception and lobby of the administration building. Managed Customer Assistance Dept., which I helped develop and implement and supervised both employees from these positions.

Collegiate Professionals – Served as a liaison between DHS and college recruitment professionals and college students. Traveled across the state and to adjacent states to attend career fairs, career seminars and provided guidance on state application procedures.Advertising/Marketing/Communications - Responsible for creating job ads, posting jobs on the internet and college websites, and negotiating ad slots with newspapers and radio. Maintained constant contact with college career placement personnel.Recruitment - Responsible for generating applications for job openings throughout Arkansas and marketing those job openings to the public via job-phone line, sending out announcements, fliers, soliciting applicants, attending career fairs, attending colleges, speaking to college students about the agency, networking with other recruiters and career planning and placement entities.Screening - Responsible for obtaining, reviewing and qualifying resumes for various positions within the DHS. Responsible for processing applications and sending out letters for those who do/do not qualify and monitoring position openings through the Applicant Tracking program.
