Led Dyeing operation, a 3-shift operation of 35+ union and 7 management employees that processed Nylon, Polyester, Cotton and Nylon Cotton blended fabrics being dyed on Jigs, Beams, and Jets with the use of Acid, Disperse, Direct, Sulfur, Reactive and Vat dyestuff.*Reduced rework rate from 8% down to 3% by closely monitoring suppliers, educating and training employees and Developed S.O.P. written procedures that were fabric specific which improved quality, increased productivity and reduced the rehandle rate.* Controlled operating costs within strictly established budgets and consistently met monthly budgets while achieving or exceeding scheduled production expectations on a weekly basis and controlling inventories with successfully negotiating favorable pricing from vendors.* During this period I successfully downsized the dyeing department from a 3-shift operation to a single shift operation while maintaining the high level of quality expected by our customers.
