Full management of a circa £1m portfolio primarily within the Agriculture sector. My role varied on a daily basis, mainly comprising of business advice, assistance with all taxes including capital taxes, review and finalisation of financial statements under various accounting standards including IFRS. Reporting directly to partners on a daily basis, and planning/management of workload for a team of 8 members.This role provided a very broad spectrum of experience due to dealing with the owners of small and medium sized businesses. Dealing day to day with these clients, you have to have a great understanding of their business and aims in order to provide specific advice that is of use for them.Role also included significant training of junior members of staff, from recruitment through to qualification as Accountants.
