In this role I manage a team of exceptional individuals providing quality assurance testing and support for TierPoint's customer facing Services Portal. The Services Portal combines many technologies into a single user interface, which gives my team exposure and experience to a large majority of the products TierPoint offers to our customers! We work closely with developers, stakeholders, and architects on a daily basis all while meeting testing deadlines and providing support to both customers and employees. In other words, we have a lot of fun!

In this role I provided technical support for a vast number of applications and business processes. Acted as a bridge between customers, business groups, and development for TierPoint's Customer Portal and other internal custom software applications. Diagnosed and escalated software bugs, feature requests, and direct customer feedback to always deliver an excellent customer experience.

In this role I supported automation within TierPoint's cloud environment using the key applications listed below.Cisco Intelligent Automation for CloudPrime Service CatalogTidal Enterprise OrchestratorResponsibilities included:Migrating code deployments across environments into production.Triaging process issues that prevented orders from completing.Facilitated successful on-boarding of customer environments.Investigated and resolved application issues.Worked with development staff to debug code defects and document fixes/enhancements.

Administer and support the following key applications for DCRI:Oracle Health Sciences InFormCisco TIDAL Enterprise SchedulerResponsibilities include:Technical support for both key applications, end users, and business team members.Support and maintain multiple Production, Validation, and Development environments.Maintain and facilitate data transfers to/from DCRI.Automate and schedule batch jobs via TIDAL. Migrate and update production clinical trials via InForm.Provide light DBA tasks to include account and role creation, password resets, managing grants, and creating tables/views as needed.Informatica support to include moving code between development, validation, and production environments.Create and troubleshoot SQL scripts and DOS batch scripts.Develop and maintain SOPs, Work Instructions, and Guidelines.Work with Windows and Linux OS servers daily in a primarily virtual environment.

Contracted to Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI) through HireNetworks. Provided installation, administration, and support services for Oracle Health Sciences InForm clinical trial system in production, validation, and development environments.

Contracted to United Health Group for 6 months as an Oracle Clinical Programmer.Oracle Clinical Programming, RDC (classic and onsite), SQL, PL/SQL, query scripting (use of Toad), SOP documentation, validation programming, and study setup.

Provided Tier 1 technical support for Hosted Solutions customers!

During my time as a Clinical Study Associate I developed electronic CRF screens, validation checks, and derivations in Oracle Clinical. Provided database administration, wrote PL/SQL procedures and functions, documented and maintained SOPS, training documents, and custom view creation/report writing via SQL. In addition to these responsibilities I provided technical support for both hardware and software to a user group of 400 global members. I was also involved with planning and executing the launch, setup, and training of clinical studies on the use of Oracle’s Remote Data Capture and in-house developed tools for the collection of study related data. The span of these studies and customer base was spread across 5 continents.I am very proud of the work I did during this time, as I know it will aid with the discovery of new medicines and expand the genetic understanding of the various diseases researched.

I was attached to various groups during this time of my career that included providing hardware and software support, communication room knowledge, computer disconnection/relocation/connection, and user administration. One of the major projects I was attached to during this time was a collaboration with Duke to collect disease related data via a set of tools used to turn paper CRFs into electronic format. This data was then encrypted and uploaded to GlaxoWellcome and loaded into a central database.
