• Leading a team of engineers responsible for the design of core entity services in the Calamp Connect Platform. The Calamp Connect Platform are a collection of REST Services for internal product offerings, and for public consumption by customers. The team was composed of both off shore and internal team members. The daily responsibilities included conducting the daily scrum and tracking progress against the active Sprints. The Platform is written in the Java language and leverages open source packages from Spring, Hibernate, Postgres, Mongo.

• Led as Product Development Lead for Cloud Agnostic. Developed to provide policy managed email to schools, Cloud Agnostic is a mail relay built on top of the Apache James Mail Server. Important features include image filtering, profanity moderation, and visibility rules for students. The policy configuration for a school is driven by a web front developed in jQuery, Bootstrap and PHP, that accesses multiple REST Services. Technology includes Apache Tomcat, Neo4j, Bootstrap, jQuery, Apache James, Velocity Templates, Basic ESB, MySQL, PHP,. Cloud Agnostic has automated testing that is written in Cucumber/JUnit. A Jenkins Job was setup to handle a complete system teardown, install and test execution to identify regression as early as possible. Continuous integration was setup with Jenkins, and software is deployed via tpkg to integration, QA and production environments. With tpkg any environment can be setup in the Amazon cloud within minutes.• Led as Product Development Lead for Student Provisioning REST Services and Message Bus. Developed on top of Apache Tomcat, the REST Services use the Springframework, to write to a Neo4j Graph, Mongo DB, and Rabbit MQ. The REST Services are used by EPals Partners to develop custom applications. The documentation is generated and rendered as a web interface using Swagger. The testing is automated with Cucumber JUnit Tests. Continuous integration setup with Jenkins with software deployed via tpkg to integration, QA and production environment.

Led as Product Development Lead for Informatica’s RulePoint for the past 3 years. Developed in several open source APIs RulePoint uses including the SpringFramework, Hibernate ORM, JPA, Quartz, XStream, Servlets, and JMS with ActiveMQ• Led the Agile Process. Conducted Sprint Reviews with the Development Manager, QA, Product Management, and Global Customer Support• Currently leading the development of a new customer IDE for the RulePoint Product. This new developer tool will have mobile applications and web applications implemented on top of a single REST API. The new developer tool will be run as a standalone product as well as a plugin for all Informatica products• Architected and developed (in Java) a pluggable security module for Authentication and Authorization. The component allows customers to integrate with existing LDAP, Active Directory, PKI, and Single Sign-­‐On Solutions• Maintained and enhanced the Customer SDK for writing plugins to receive, analyze and respond to data events. The SDK includes a published API and Java Developers Guide• Initiated development for replacing the entire Data Access Layer for the RulePoint Product to reduce complexity. The Database for the product is updated from several separate processes, each with a local cache that must be synchronized. The replacement was done without any API updates to existing code• Developed the Migration and Upgrade wizards run by customer SysAdmins for product upgrades. The wizard upgraded the SQL Databases and configurations, eliminating individual file changes• Created a Graphical Installer for the RulePoint Product. Previous versions of the product required a customer to perform many manual steps to install the product into a customer environment

Served as Java Development Manager for a team of 12 Engineers developing a Java application to manage Intelligence provided by Human Assets. Architected and developed PKI, Portal, Web Services, Business Process Management, RSS, JAXB and GWT. The software was used by 20,000 users on a daily basis• Implemented a component that displayed messages that alerted FBI Agents for situational awareness regarding intelligence they gathered (as a Lead Developer)• Created a Java component that allowed FBI Agents to search for Intelligence across multiple sources. The search engine combined results from several data sources and ranked them based on the terms the Agent provided. The front end Used Google Web toolkit (GWT) to dynamically update the results as they were found. This was done while a Lead Developer• Served as Lead Java Developer for a web application sending Intelligence Reports to the CIA, DIA, DOD, and other government agencies. The software used a custom developed workflow (BPM) tool to route documents through a system for approval from Management before being released• Served as Software Development Manager for a software project that managed budgets for the IRS and Veterans Administration. The project used Java Servlets to allow the departments to identify budget spending and allocations. This software was used by the IRS for preparation of their budgetary needs
