Generated steel, foundations, paving & underground oily water sewer 3D models using Bentley Structural & transferred into 2D drawings for client deliverables. Coordinated design elements directly with other disciplines, as well as in virtual 3D cad environment.

Shell-Motiva Task ForceServed as lead designer on Coke Fines project under direction of task force leader. Responsible for both conceptual & detail design for rehabilitation of Coke storage yard & compliance with air, soil & water contamination requirements. Also utilized 3D point cloud (laser scan with LFM software) for critical Coker revamp project. This enabled us to design with a true 3D view of the structure & its components as they stood in the field, in turn producing a product with higher accuracy & little to no rework during construction.

Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Hillside 137 Project - Los Alamos, NMPerformed storm water design on steep terrain utilizing HDPE pipe with stilling basin to eliminate soil erosion on project site.Union Tank Car Company (UTLX) ProjectAlexandria, LAPerformed calculations for alignment of plant roads & railroads. Responsible for layout & design of all plant roads & railroads. Also responsible for parking, drainage (both surface & subsurface) & paving on plant grounds, outside of buildings. Assisted in foundation & paving design inside of buildings.LSP-Kendall Energy, LLC Project - Minooka, ILCivil designer responsible for design of site-work and erosion control, foundations, and buildings for retrofit of existing electrical generation facility at Minooka.

Drainage Design-Responsible for collection, processing and maintenance of drainage survey and topographical data. Assist engineer with layout and design of plant drainage isolation and handling, as outlined in project scope of work. Produce drawings in .dwg format using Acad 2002.Foundation & Steel Design-Responsible for design and drafting of tank foundations, pipe supports, pipe bridges, equipment platforms, paving and misc. steel structures & foundations.Railroad Project-Responsible for collection, processing and maintenance of railroad track survey data. Researched and provided client with friction bumping post alternative, capable of stopping a 2950 ton train traveling 5 mph in less than 31 feet. As an alternative to a ridged concrete structure. Thereby greatly reducing the chance of a train derailment.
