Joseph Thompson is the founder of Mod Films. Prior to running his production company, Joseph’s main work was shooting and directing short form documentaries. Mostly based around sustainability and the UN SDG’s. The videos featured on BBC, CNN, Reuters, UN and more. The majority of his work featured companies who have sustainable practises and projects, that wanted to tell their story. Examples of this are Toyota launching their new e-truck and car range in USA or Huawei helping rural villages in Nigeria connect to the internet. He has a vast amount of experience travelling around the world to capture these stories in video form.Now running Mod Films, his work is closer to home. Working on mostly commercial content but still delving into similar past projects. Joseph is also an award winning photographer and licensed drone operator. In his free time he likes to work on his vintage motorcycle and go for walks with his wife and sheep dog.Mod Films' visual marketing is around Joseph's love for vintage motorcycles. Owning a Honda from the 1981 that he Mod-ified and restored in his father's barn over lockdown.
