- Assist in the implementation of the firm-wide business risk management programme across all areas of the firm;- Administration of annual business risk management programme from initial meetings with risk owners, to assisting with risk workshops and working with risk owners to formally sign off on the control environment;- Assist in the preparation of appropriate reports and data in order to integrate risk into decision-making;- Work collaboratively with the Assurance team to drive improvements in the firm’s control environment;- Assist in addressing risk and quality issues raised by senior management; and - Support the Head of Risk and Assurance with other firm-wide activities such as ISO 9001, Annual Declarations, and client requests.

- Completing file audits for multiple areas of the firm to ensure compliance with SRA requirements.- Attending internal meetings to establish all necessary compliance needs are being met within the areas we currently review.- Providing feedback to legal advisors following completion of audits.

- Management of a team of legal advisors.- Creating and implementing training plans for both new starters and experienced members of staff.- Producing file audits and call reviews on a monthly basis to ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.- Handling monthly 1-2-1's with team members, reviewing draft correspondence and handling all legal queries on a day to day basis.- Attending client meetings and acting as a first point of contact for many of the clients who required urgent assistance as and when needed.- Organising and conducting interviews for potential new members of staff.

- Managing a caseload of Mortgage Repossession files from various different lenders.- Undertaking all aspects of litigation work from initial instruction to file completion including issuing proceedings at the local county court, witness statements, reviewing Court orders, issuing warrants and setting up eviction dates.- Negotiating and setting up suitable payment arrangements with our client's customers and monitoring these on a regular basis.- Attending client meetings with a Team Leader to ensure we maintain a good working relationship and understand what they required from our services.- Assisting management with all billing processes and production of management information for clients.

- Undertaking training to become a Case Handler within the Mortgage Recoveries team.- Tasked with more duties including preparing witness statements and setting up hearing dates with the local County Court.

- Assisting the Mortgage Recoveries Team with incoming telephone calls and email correspondence.- Organising new case files and allocating these to the appropriate team member.- Basic admin tasks including using Land Registry to obtain documents, contacting the Courts and sending customer correspondence as and when needed.
