Amazon Chime is a communications and collaboration service at AWS. Most recently I am working on the Amazon Chime SDK and helping key customers scale their business using our service; Part customer success, part technical. Previously at AWS, I worked with our Amazon Chime meetings application and our Voice Connector SIP Trunking service. With my background in unified communications and IT management, I am able to work alongside customers and understand their needs acting as a conduit to our engineers and developers.

In this role, I was responsible for UTC's global Unified Communications strategy. This included live event broadcast, telephony, video conferencing, and collaboration technologies. I was tasked with designing a new global Unified Communications infrastructure and a plan for execution. UTC is 200,000+ person company with multiple business units, many bound by ITAR. Designing collaboration tools that met the needs in this environment required both business acumen and a strong background in technology. I was able to design the solution, socialize it to leadership, and lead the project successfully through the RFP process.

During my time in this role, I was an employee of Cushman and Wakefield working for United Technologies, Unified Communications department. I spent much of my time managing audiovisual designs, projects, installations and integrations. While in this role, I managed over $2.3 million in technology projects for UTC.My work spanned across multiple business units within UTC. I was responsible for managing several key vendor relationships with manufacturers and integrators. These strong relationships helped to give UTC a competitive advantage both in cost and consistency. To stay cutting edge, I also helped lead new product testing and implementation. Our team developed and maintained the UTC audiovisual standard which is updated regularly with new approved technologies.I often provided support for video conferences in addition to my project management role. I assisted with both internal and external calls with vendors and partners. Myself and the team also regularly support UTC senior leadership with critical video conferences and collaboration meetings.

During my time as a contractor with Fluor and Sodexo for Unilever, I project managed multiple large AV upgrades and integrations. I was able to bring the multi-building R&D site into an HD presentation environment that was more cost effective, functional and productivity driven. I also provided regular executive support for numerous live events and video conferences including all-hands meetings and conferences. I was responsible for keeping all audiovisual equipment operational and suggesting upgrades/repairs and coordinating with vendors.
