CurrentDetermine initial diagnoses for individuals ranging from 2 to 100 years old with mental health and/or substance abuse disorder at the walk-in clinic through comprehensive psychosocial assessments Conduct crisis intervention services, safety planning, and facilitate psychiatric hospitalization when needed for clients presenting with adjustment disorders, situational issues, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorders, psychotic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use disorder, and moreApply knowledge of current legal responsibilities on duty to warn/report individuals who are at risk of harm to themselves or others while maintaining professional boundariesDevelop effective treatment plans with clients to define goals for treatment and support, referring and connecting to community resources to meet their physical, mental, and basic needs
