Provided new product development, operational improvement, and technical expertise to lead manufacturing and development teams creating a battery replacement targeted at the $50B portable power market.

Transitioned into client-facing sales position to experience “the other side” of business operations and charged with increasing revenue in the US and Mexico despite slowing economic conditions for electronics manufacturers. Developed new business opportunities for electro-acoustic and magnetic components in consumer electronics, commercial electronics and medical devices

Retained after co-op assignment to full-time position with manufacturer of commercial and military power converters. Ultimately held authority for material selection, interconnect design, process development, PCBA and manufacturing technology transfer. Also led special projects such as RoHS conversion and continuous improvement initiatives for legacy products.

Headed inside sales for this leading North East supplier of flow meters/controllers, gas detectors, pressure gauges/transmitters, temperature indicators/transmitters, regulators and instrumentation. With minimal training successfully replaced the applications engineer while on an 8 month maternity leave. Remained to design and create company web page that improved the efficiency of quotations and orders.

At a very young age I was heavily exposed to shop tools, machinery and construction while helping to grow the family outdoor power equipment business. It was there I gained a solid work ethic, foundation of values and the mechanical mind that led me to Mechanical Engineering and find joy in creating with my hands.
