Joe Urquhart specializes in insurance and risk management programs for all types of Contractors, as well as real estate developers and owners, and manufacturers. In May of 2012, he took his expertise to Overmyer Hall Associates, joining Partners Greg and Dan Overmyer, along with Brian Hall at the commercial property & casualty agency.Urquhart holds a degree from Bowling Green State University. He has also earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designations. At Overmyer Hall Associates he will advise clients on insurance issues such as risk transfer, builders risk, additional insured’s, professional liability and loss control. He is a member of the BX, ABC, AGC, CFMA and OCA. Joe is a current board member of ABC Central Ohio, past board member of ASA of Ohio, and ASA of Central Ohio.Urquhart started his career with Motorists Insurance Company in underwriting and marketing. In 1995, he joined General Insurance Agency. Urquhart most recently worked for the British firm Willis Group Holdings.In addition to serving as Overmyer Hall Associates’ Vice President, Joe is very involved in the Columbus community. He is currently serving as President of the Bishop Watterson School Board, a member of Charity Newsies and a former board member of North Broadway Children Center and Northwest Swim Club.
