Digital Engineer

This company was started as a senior design project, that got funding from Catalyze CU to further development. The product was a unique tattoo removal system, to help reduce scaring of conventional laser tattoo removal which is subject to human error. I was brought on to help refine and solidify the design in to a presentable prototype.*This involved moving from an Arduino prototype into a more refined device, including: a unique mechanical plotter, a new processor, and guidance of other members working on layout.*The new plotting device was better suited for the contours of a human limb, without increasing the needed degrees of freedom.*The processor reduced part count, increased computational speed, and allowed for the existing Arduino code base.*Reduced power consumption, by reducing part count, and by selecting suitable DC/DC converters for the stepper motors and control systems.

Field hand, helped maintain tree yard: installed watering systems, planted trees, removed trees, planted trees in customers yards and other maintenance.
