This team is supported by representatives both inside and outside of my group. The purpose of the team was to support the newly developed program by driving issues down to a root cause with an implemented corrective action. By utilizing this process incoming quality failures were reduced by over 30% and manufacturing yields improved on several processes, some as much as 45%. This ultimately resulted in an improved customer experience, improved yields and reduced costs.• Worked with a team to reduce the cost on one of the two products. The team addressed resourcing of low risk components and redesign of high cost items.
