As an Asscoiate Community Manager, I will be looking to introduce new members to WeWork's biggest UK space in Moorgate. In addition, I will be managing relationships with our current members and helping them in anyway I can.

As a Pareto Graduate, I have an aptitude for Sales and Marketing. My background in Linguistics and at Leeds University Union meant they recognised my natural competence in the Sales field, a skill that was refined on their Fundamentals of Selling Course. After thriving during their rigorous selection process, I was accepted by their recruitment scheme and then placed at 4D-DC.

At the end of my second year at University, I gained employment at the University Union. Despite having many University commitments, I still worked full time hours and regularly covered shifts to help out my co-workers. This dedication to my role meant that, within 12 months, I was promoted to supervisor and have continued to show the same level of diligence and professionalism in this position, as well as taking an interest in all areas of this large company. At Leeds University Union, I:Have played an active role in menu design for the Union's food outlets. By suggesting new ideas and critiquing ideas from others based upon knowledge of the current market preferences, looking at stock reports and noticing trends. Also through market research, we tried to find new cuisines that our client base is interested in and then incorporate them into our menus.Lead small teams both on the bar and in the kitchen. This meant I had to show a high level of initiative and professionalism, as well as good communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.Taken advantage of the opportunity to shadow both the Marketing and HR department at the Union. This has given me an insight into areas of Marketing such as managing local and national press, press releases, the budgetary considerations of a marketing campaign, graphic design and large scale social media advertising.

I have two radio shows on LSRfm, one of the largest student stations in the UK. This role involves: Identifying the key demographics of our station's current listenership, as well as potential new markets, and developing show concepts to appeal directly to these groups.Controlling all the shows' creative output. This includes the topics of conversation, the music that is played and the general style of the show. All these factors are targeted at appealing to our current listeners as well as being accessible to new listeners. Using an array of Social Media, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, podcasts and Spotify to promote the show.Researching and enveloping myself in current music trends by reading a wide range of online music blogs and extensive use of social media to keep our output current to the students of Leeds.
