Joe Wright, Jr. is an active recording/touring artist, singer, musician, songwriter, voice-over performer, arranger, playwright and music teacher. Throughout his long career, Joe has sung & played percussion on many commercials and recording projects. He continues to tour the States with his own singing group The Artist: Joe Jr. and Friends, which proves to be an extremely popular Act on the Festival Circuit with a solid fan base. In addition to being a multi-facet performer, Joe also is an acclaimed record & audio book producer with more than 25 Cd & Audio Book projects currently being downloaded, streamed and sold on “Audible.com,” “Amazon.com” and “Apple i-Tunes” among others. It should be noted that all of these projects were recorded/produced at his state of the art home project studio JoRon 2000 Studios located in Illinois. Known as an innovative & savvy businessman, Joe is the CEO/President of his own Independent Record label- Blapop Records, and has successfully garnered radio air play on over 30 international internet radio stations through Airplay Direct.com for many of the label’s projects. Currently, Joe is the Chicago Singers Collective (CSC) Coordinator for educational outreach for schools in the Chicago land area and suburbs . CSC has just completed a preview performance of Joe’s original musical story “OREO: Significant Songs of the Sixties” to rave reviews. A proud and dedicated member of the SAG-AFTRA Chicago Local, Joe is the Chair of their Singers Committee. Joe also serves as a member of the SAG-AFTRA Chicago Audio books Committee.
