Currently Assigned in Pipelines Business Unit and working for the Enbridge pipelines project. I am involved in the preparation of Material Requisition for low and medium voltage switchgears, Single Line Diagram, Lighting Design using Visual Lighting, Cable Schedule, Grounding and Power Drawings and Plant Modeling using SP3D and all calculations for lighting and cable tray sizing.

Responsible in Checking of deliverables like Dynamic Lighting, Emergency and Normal Lighting (Outdoor and indoor), Earthing System, Power layout, Equipment layout and Electrical Heat tracing System done by the Design Contractors. Reviews vendor drawings and documents based on Project specifications. Prepare Connection List, Cable Schedule, and Bill of Materials. Directly coordinating with the subcontractor for the issuance of deliverables and sending out of comments for incorporation in the final document. Issuance of documents in the TPMS system (online document management system) is also one of my major responsibilities in the project.

Responsibilities include modelling of lighting and receptacle using Plant Design System (PDS) Equipment Modelling and Cable Tray using PDS Raceway. It also includes the production of layout plans for the GOHT unit such as grounding, lighting including instrument power layout, above ground power, and cable tray by extraction of 2D drawing from PDDraw and/or Microstation to AutoCAD. Prepares Bill of Materials using Material Manager and installation details..Engineering calculations using Luxicon, Conduit fill calculation, and Voltage drop calculation for lighting and preparation of panelboard schedule, single line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams are also included.

Designated as a System Engineer in Information and Communications Department having a main responsibility as a Plant Design System (PDS) administrator giving support to engineers having problems with design applications such as Microstation, AutoCad, Bentley Navigator, Smart Plant Review, among others.
